We collect only what we need to fulfil your orders and support you, and we never sell your personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how Styled by Anahita (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit styledbyanahita.comor place an order with us. We process personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the Information Technology Act, 2000. By using our website you agree to the practices described here.
1. Personal data we collect
- Contact details — your name, mobile number and email address.
- Delivery details — your shipping (and, if different, billing) address and pincode.
- Order details — items ordered, sizes, amounts, payment method and payment status. We do not receive or store your full card details; online payments are handled by our payment processor.
- Communications — messages you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp, and requests such as data deletion requests.
- Technical data — basic information such as IP address, browser type and device information that our servers record when you use the website, to keep it secure and working properly.
2. How we use your personal data
- To process, pack, ship and deliver your orders, and to handle returns, exchanges and refunds.
- To sign you in using a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
- To send you order confirmations and updates on WhatsApp and email.
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep our website secure.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We process your data on the basis of your consent (which you give when you place an order, sign in or contact us) and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as fulfilling a purchase you requested or complying with the law. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you have asked to receive them.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our store, and only as much as they need:
- Razorpay — to process online payments (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets).
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) — to send order updates and to chat with you on WhatsApp.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — to host our website, servers and product images.
- Our email service provider — to send order emails and replies to your messages.
- Courier and logistics partners — your name, phone number and address, so they can deliver your order.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. Some of our service providers may process data on servers located outside India, subject to applicable law.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage to remember your cart, wishlist and sign-in session on your device. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. When you pay online, Razorpay’s checkout may use its own cookies to process the payment securely, as described in Razorpay’s privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting laws. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Request erasure of your personal data (subject to data we must retain by law).
- Withdraw your consent at any time — this won't affect processing already carried out.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
- Have your grievances addressed by us, and if you're not satisfied, approach the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to customer information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach where required by law.
8. Children
Our website is intended for users aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please use the website only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without such consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
